Seems to me you have a brake fluid leak. Either a leaky hose or caliper. Find and fix the leak and bleed the brake lines. I suggest uou don't drive the car until fixing the problem.

It is quite possible. You definitely need to repair this problem before you drive it again.

whoa! that is a major problem! is the piston still in there? i can't see it. def get new pads (replace all 4 in the rear), and get a replacement bolt. i would install all that, add new fluid, bleed, then check to see if the piston is still leaking. the missing pad could have damaged the piston seal, and it will constantly leak fluid. it may need to be rebuilt. good luck!

it is, but is it there?! i can't tell from the pics. is the rubber boot the only thing there, or is the metal piston present?
