That is a bit high. Are you sure that your cooling fans are working? Check the simple stuff first. check the fuse for your cooling fans to make sure that it is not blown. Also, check for blockage, aka GUNK, in the front of the radiator . Last but not least,, you may have a defective thermostat, partially sticking open, and not working properly.

I have the same problem. I thought that was normal. Please updated when you figure out the problem.

is the water pump oem?

Has your car seriously overheated ever? For my car, in the maintenance record from lexus, there is record of an overheat, that turned out to be false due to an air bubble trapped in the system. The temp sensor fried due to the air bubble maxing it out. Mb your sensor is faulty?

I have a 1990 and it has run at that exact spot since I got it (only like 1k miles ago) but it doesn't even fluctuate a little except when starting from cold so I'm not all that worried about it. If it had spiked I would worry but we are dealing with 20year old gauges and wiring so who knows. If the therm was stuck open I would expect it to take longer than usual to warm up but mine warms up real quick. I have already replace the temp sensor because I assumed it was just going out of spec but it did nothing. The manual lists everything up to the dash right before the red as being normal operating temp ( not that I would let it sit that high) so in te grand scheme it's not all that much hotter than dead middle.

Edit: after some investigating I found out that I replaced sensor for the ECM not the gauges. So that's next up on my list. They seem to go for -20$ most places (often called a switch and not a sensor/sender).

Are you sure there's no air bubbles? Did you let it cool down and remove the fill plug on the water inlet housing?

UPDATE:my friend came over. who usually fixes honda/acuras. checked out my car and it appeared the temp gauge is out of place. when the engine is cooled down the needle rest alittle under the first bar on the guage. right where the temperature pic is at. it doesnt sit on the cold bar. i guess due to my eye sight being bad i couldnt see it on the dash while the car is off.
u guys might want to check yours if its like that. the darkness of the cluster while the car is off fooled my eye to think the needle is all the way down

Can you use a multi meter to read the output if the temp sensor and determin the resistance to equal a temperature reading?

Since your thermostat is new, already bled the air out, coolant is full, new water pump - the only thing left would be the radiator, the fans, and the ECT. I'm leaning towards the radiator if the it's hasn't been replaced yet. Make sure fans are working.
