Are the console (shifter) bezels the same shape and same color wood tone for '95-'99?

nope. slight differences in wood for sure, and shape i believe.

I may have cast that net too wide. Looking at pictures, it looks like 96-98 are close - 95 different shape, and 99 looks like different wood.

95-97 will be unique right off the bat since that's pre-MC, 98-00 will be separate. then for each subgen there will be 1-2 variations in wood based on year, and 2-3 variations of button configurations.

in total, at LEAST five variations, not including differences in wood pattern.
