Engine did not turn over after recharging dead battery
My wife accidently left the light on resulting in a dead battery in our 1992 LS400. When I first put the battery charger on the horns made an erie sound for a short while. At first the battery took a long time to start taking a charge. Finally the next morning it was fully charged. When I tried to start the car Nothing! All the exterior and interior lights worked but I noticed the trunk opener did not and neither did the door locks. I tired checking battery conections to no avail. About fifteen minutes later tried it again and it started and the door locks and trunk opener worked. Can anyone explain thi

Thanks for the advice Jim. All is well now, it starts and everything works. Next time i will disconnect battery or better yet train the wife to turn off lights!
