Put my original 2000 LS400 Chrome 16" wheels and tires on craigslist. One of the guys interested has a 1992 LS400 which comes with 15" stock wheels. Will my 2000 wheels fit his 92 LS?

Yes, the main issue with wheels is with the 95-00 that have the 4 piston calipers. The 1-LS does not have this issue so if your buddy decides to put on Supra or 2-Ls brakes, he is good.

They sure will. I love those style wheels. Just make sure the chrome isn't pitting or your tire air pressure will drop.

never put them on a 92, but they fit 95-97 ok, take a look

I guess I am the weird one here, because the stock wheels are my LEAST favorite thing about 98-00 LS400, I strongly prefer the look of the wheels on a 90-97

when I eventually upgrade my 96 and get a 99 or 2000, the stock wheels will be the FIRST and probably only exterior change.

I totally agree with you. I can't stand the look of those wheels (sorry fellas). They date the car about 10 years. I put some 17" LS430 wheels on my 99 and while I don't love the look, I much prefer them to the originals.
