Default Broke a spring...stock spring replacement vendor options?

Front drivers side spring broke. I just called the shop and they said they called around couldn't find one, so they ordered one from the dealer. Should be in Wednesday.

Well both sides should be done of course, and I'd appreciate some recommendations on who to order some aftermarket springs from.

Thanks.

i haven't heard of a spring breaking ever, however i would simply cruise over to the junkyard and source a factory replacement. if you want aftermarket springs, they will most likely lower your car. if that's your desire, then tanabe, H&R, and eibach are a few companies that carry lowering springs for LS400s.

Anyone's got a set of OEM 1st gen rear springs for sale? I'll make you a deal on these Eibach springs if you are interested.

I was just quoted by the shop $150 per OEM spring. They tried used as well they said.

Still looking at options since this is the time to do shocks as well. Car has about 170K on it.

Thanks for all the suggestions and links guys.

In a rush to get it back on the road, so I went with some new OEM front springs found locally plus some KYB GR2's and mounts. Everything is supposed to show up at the shop Wednesday. I'll post an update when I'm back on the road.
