my 92 needs to have the shift **** replaced or recovered..it has the tan/peanut butter interior. any suggestions or ideas would be appreciated..thanks in advance
I bought a small bottle of leather dye, not an exact match but if you supply a sample of the leather they can do exact matches and used it to cover the shifter on mine. Looks pretty good I think and has been OK for nearly 3 years since doing it.
ok so i found a company in texas that re-wraps the shifter *****. i tried to pull the old one off but the o/d wires arent long enough to get it off the shifter shaft. according to the article that steve posted i can cut and re-splice the wires?

READ & recheck the article, it says you will need wire cutters and No4) Pull the shifter off and cut the two O/D wires attatched to it.
