Master keys locked in trunk, how do you trip the remote switch?

My ever so helpful brother shut the boot on BOTH sets of master keys in the trunk (99 LS400). I had the valet key in the cabin and have been able to drive the car after roadside assistance broke in for me. However in the process of breaking in they set off the alarm AND depress the trunk lock. I have seen the advice by Neofate, Puredrifter & TJW98LS Any advice as how to get it to work?

I think might be time for your brother to pay for a third master key from lexus.
