Hey I'm getting those for my 2002 GS300 but I noticed that you put 235/50R18 tires on them. Take a look at this insert from the wheels.

That image was taken from one of the auctions that the guy has for the wheels.

In that image you'll notice that the maximum tire size says 245/45R18. When you compare the two tire sizes, 235/50R18 and 245/45R18 using the following tire size calculator, you'll notice that those 235/50R18 are slightly larger in diameter.

http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html

I'm wondering if that's going to make a difference. Anybody have any thoughts/opinions.

hehe, I asked that before but no one repsonse,
I think no problem at all..
Just a thought, the 50 series protect the rim itself better than the 45 series.. right? so far my car drive just quiet as stock.. tks for ur concern..

Default Damn.....

I saw those on ebay and thought they would look great on a 98-00 LS ...I was right. If it werent for the weight increase and the ride penalty I would be all over that. Very Nice.

Default $$??

Hey silverfare,

how much did you pay for those rims? do u get a lot of comments after you put them on? i'm really thinking about buying these rims but still wondering if $1,400 is a little too high or not.

Thanks
