Default Brake Job Question--Where does this washer go?

I working on my front brakes on my LS. In the midst of moving around the caliper, the washer below fell out. The washer looks like is has some wear on it, but I can't figure where it goes. Please advise. Thanks

Looks like the washer for the brake line to caliper bolt. If its about the size of a dime, thats what it is. If its about the size of a quarter, it a caliper bolt washer

i also believe its for the caliper bolt, but on the actual caliper itself. theres a stiff spacer like that on there.

This one's the size of a quarter, so I guess it's the latter. Fortunately, I did these one at a time and I'll confirm once I do the driver's side. This is my first brake pad replacement job and it's a pretty easy DIY. Ignorance is costly. I can't count the times I've paid someone for this over the years. .

Thanks for the response!

Easy way to check too, if it's a copper washer it's for the bango bolt where the fluid line attatch's to the caliper, ther should be two copper washers, one each side of the line/hose connection. Hard to tell from your pic if it is copper? Otherwise as stated probably for caliper bolt BUT they usually don't have washers for the caliper bolts...

With some daylight, I was able to check and it's definitely the caliper BOLT washer. Both bolts have washers that fit in a slightly recessed area on the outside of the caliper.

Question: These bolts were stuck in there pretty good and it took me awhile working with the breaker bar to get them out. It is advisable to put some anti seize on the threads when putting them back?

you can but generally not needed. the caliper mounting bolt have washers on them, 98-00 use a slightly different style of washer that is 1pc and folded over to be on both sides of the caliper mount iirc.

Thanks PD. I went ahead and put some anti-seize on them. The bolts on the driver's side proved to be in there pretty tight.
