Default I didn't search but.. 18x8.5/9.5 +6?? (ucf20)

Found some old SSR mesh 18s. 8.5" front and 9.5" rear, both +6, I'm not asking if these will fit but how they'd look on the car.

They're $300, need to be taken apart and refinished and an hour away from me. Hopefully you guys who are more knowledgable than I can help me out and maybe save me the 2hr round trip?

Go easy guys.

Those sizes are sissy boy sizes and will fit with ease. A proper roll and a 205/35 & 215/35 tire setup and it should be kinda flush. Post up pix after youve mounted them~

x runner wheels both fit and cleared the brakes?
may be a good winter wheel setup for you people out in the cold.

regardless, Fronts will need a roll/mild pull depending on the tire size, reals will need a roll at most, and a mild stretch if you arent low enough to get 2-3* of negative camber.

also, posting up the year in the thread title or at least the First Post will help a LOT . the information i've given is only for 95-00 LS400s.

Ohh...I see a vertical mill and lathe back there. Fun toys. Car is blocking the view.

Mesh looks nice on the 2-LS. Those +6 SSR's would poke roughly an inch.

I'm on Megan EZs and the stock 16's fit about the same as the XRunner wheels as far as fender to tire clearance. No idea how much camber I'm capable of...

That's my buddies Dad's modified shop, great place to get **** done.

An inch, huh? I don't know how I feel about that.

XRunner wheels will need a ~2mm spacer to clear the front calipers and something a bit beefier to fill out the rear.

I think they're 18x8 +30?

Wow...those look like they have been left outside for a bit and old at that. Once cleaned-up and polished up

Since you have them, do a test fit and show us pics.

Coped from my local forum:

I drove to Alamo to try on some SSRs, 18x8.5/9.5 +6. They stuck out but cleared the caliper so...

Mine.

Went to the compound to see how they'd fit at ride height. Fronts looks great, might need a ~10mm spacer for the rears. Still not sure how much lower I'm gonna have to go but I'm assuming at least a half inch.

Now to figure out how to get them apart, get them cleaned up and take it from there. They look like they were stored in saltwater so I'm guessing a lot of XXXX blasting and maybe get them re-chromed (is that even possible?) I think I'd like to use gold hardware when they go back together but I might change my mind on that.

Tire wise, I'm hoping I can do 215/45 front and 235/40's out back. We'll see....

So does anyone know where I could find some gold hardware for these?

You'll have to call around to some of the wheel repair shops or an SSR dealer for parts availability. The rears look to be like +30. Matching poke to the front will be about a 25mm adapter in the rear. As PD mentioned, might need to shave/roll and pull a bit.

First sentence confuses me, the rears are a +6, not +30.

I actually own some 25mm spacers, thanks for reminding me.

Those are going to look amazing on there with some elbow grease. The x-runner wheels look surprisingly good too!
