Default motor/trans mounts

I'm finally deciding to replace my mounts, i've had a vibration issue at about 55-70 since I bought the car, initially i thought it was a poor alignment, then my bad tie rods / lower ball joints, replaced them and aligned, then thought it was my cheap 20" wheels, went back to stock, and its still slightly there, the car has 236k on it, and all the signs of a bad mounts, so im ready to replace them. my question is, has anyone had any luck with aftermarket (autozone or something) ones, or do i really HAVE to order from Lexus? Thanks

Go oem by all means. If you do them take some pics along the way. Still debating on doing mine.

The OEM mount are only $100 a peice. I think I priced Beck Arnley from Carquest and they were not much cheaper than the OEM. I jut bought Lexus original parts when I got my mounts. I changed my engine mounts and the trans mounts made a huge difference in the smoothness of the engine and the ride. Can't tell if the car is running unless I look at the tachometer. I never had the vibration that you speak of, but I could tell a night and day difference once I changed them.

the oem trans mounts are like <$40 when you order them from carson, sewell, or westminster.

True, but would be nice to see another one done from a different point of view.
