Kickdown switch doesn't always work
 

Hey guys,

I'm new around here and I'm also a new 95' LS400 owner. However i noticed that when i floor it hard it doesn't always kick it out of O/D. Yesterday, it was working on and off, but today every time I put it to the floor it would just accelerate normal like you give it gas but it doesn't give me the boost i got before when it would come out of O/D. I know the problem its not new tho, cuz I used to drive it sometimes before I became its owner and it was also working on and off.
Could there be a problem with the kickdown switch? can i find a replacement? and if so how hard is to change it myself?

flush and clean screen? i would try that first. but im also a lexus newb so dont quote me on that one. LOL
