Default Rubber housing on back of headlight?

So I was taking out my headlights to clean them up a bit. And I noticed this rubber housing came off. They looked to be glued on there previously. What do these do? And would it be recommended to glue them back on? Any idears?

lol that's not a bushing, its a moisture valve, so he lenses dont fog up.

a little superglue or vinyl glue on the lip (NOT on the foam inside...) will have that thing back on in a jiffy

if you want to look like a ricer and have less visible light output and get pulled over more,
go for it.

otherwise stick to 6000k or under

Definitely dont want a ricer look to my car. Ive never had HID lights so I thought Id ask about the purple anyways. So 6k would be my best bet. What is recommended for the fog lights aswell? 3k?

I would say go for the same as the headlights.

I had 8000K on my old corolla. Looked a bit purple and fitted the car ok. But for the LS i think it would be too much. I'm more into the original looking. I think 4300k is mostly standard on vehicles equiped with xenon as standard.
