Default Misfire only when car gets up to temp

I just got my UCF20 running right so far I've replaced:
Spark Plugs
Spark Plug wires
Ignition Coils
Caps
Rotors
Water Pump
Fan Clutch bracket
Front Main
Timing Belt
Serpentine Belt

The car starts up and idles fine for a few mins and then out of nowhere misfire.... I don't understand it!

Could it be water temp sensor related or something? I get a check engine light that blinks when it starts to miss.

My car is misfiring on cylinder 6 and 8 but they both have spark, so I dunno what the f*** is going on! I can't figure it out, it barely drives, has loss of power. Its smoking terribly.

you put it together wrong. unlikely to be the timing belt (as if its off by even one tooth it'll wreak hell). look in the ignition components, specifically check the connections to the coils and that the rotors are pointing in the right directions. also make sure you plugged in the crank/cam sensors.

How did I put it together wrong if it didn't have the problem a few weeks ago after I did the work and it does now? Makes tons of sense right? No.

And it has nothing to do with Spark, cylinders 6 and 8 have spark.

SO it has to be something fuel related.

You didn't say it's been running good for a week. I also thought it did this as soon as you finished this work. But if you think it's fuel related, check the injectors. But even though you have spark on 6 and 8, they could still be misfiring and you'll get a code for 6 and 8. Do you have those 2 plug wires crossed? Like PD said, check all the connections, something could have come loose if ya didn't put it together tight. The rotors were my first thought but if it's been good for a week then that's highly doubtful. "Don't rule out anything unless you check it first."

the fact it ran "perfect" for a week or two would have been great information to have instead of "i changed this stuff and now it's broke."

so those cylinders have spark, ehh....

did you pull the plugs to make sure they were fine? or did you just do the old wire on the block test?

It didn't say what code, it just read a misfire on cyl 6 and 8. The plugs are fine, I just checked em last night, I took the car and scanned it again and it now has a misfire on 2/4/6/8! WTF!

I just did the spark plug tube seals and valve cover gasket, and they started leaking, I'm in the process of fixing that now. I can't figure this BS out!

I cant figure it out! If anyone local to Tampa, FL has any ideas on what it could be or is willing to give me a hand, let me know. I don't have a clue as to what it could be.

its a bank 2 issue, so check the coil and grounds to the coil, try swapping the coils. something wasnt reassembled right and its only effecting bank2.

But each ignition coil controls 2 cyls on each bank on my car, so it cant be one ignition coil or one cap/rotor. You see what I'm saying? I just replaced the coolant temperature sensor yesterday as well. Still having an issue.

Anyone have any ideas as to what could cause a misfire on a whole bank?

Cam sensor as there's one on each bank and they can become heat sensitive.
Also make sure the wiring to them and the crank position sensor hasn't been damaged when you replaced the timing belt, things are a bit tight in this area.
I don't mind lending a hand if you pay my airfare and buy me a 2 day Busch Gardens pass.

Have a read of this
