Driver side vent not operating
Hello folks, I tried my best to do some searching on here to locate some assistance, but to no avail. I have a 2000 ls400 and ever since i got the car from the dealer, the driver side vent has no air coming out of it. Its not the thumb toggle that's the issue, i can see the flap inside opening and closing. I even tried closing all the other vents to see if i could get it to open, Nothing happened. Is there something in the dash that would cause only that 1 vent to not have air come out of it?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Even though you can see that one flap opening, there are other flaps (doors) inside the blower assembley which need to open. There's alot of servo motors on the blower which all work together. It's possible one of the servo motors isn't working right. To check them, I'm pretty sure, you would have to remove the blower assembly which is quite the PITA job. I got mine out to change the heater core, the whole dash needed to come out. Mine's a 93 but it should be the same setup.

If that doesnt work out check the air duct that is under the steering wheel you have to remove the panel mine is a 90 and did the same thing the duct just came out of the coupling put it back in place and it should work....just a thought u might want to check out
