Supercharger!!!
Ok sports fans... you read correctly. TRD is now making a supercharger for the 4.7 liter V8 trucks. Ok information an a good picture can be seen at http://www.toyotaparts4u.com/4.7_V8_supercharger.htm
Now, it is hard to say without having one in person to make measurements BUT this LOOKS like it is no taller than the stock 98+ intake manifold on the V8 cars! I haven't confirmed anything but the intake bolt pattern should be the same. What will this fit? Could fit ALL V8s!
I will try to find out more and post it.

I think there is a company in Australia is producing this supercharger kit. They also used Eaton M90 as a base. I have heard the price is very reasonable.
I am glad more after market stuffs for the 1UZ-FE engine.

Well, I hate to say it but this was discussed some time back on the GS forum. Apparently, it is too tall for the hood. I don't have any dimensions yet but a picture just is not enough information.
If someone wanted to modify their hood with a bulge or cowl induction look... it woul/should be a bolt on. Now, fuel/spark management is another affair and someone such as SRT would be my first shopping call after the blower!

Annother problem is the VVT-i cengine control. It does not like force induction. You have to get the piggy back ECU from mo in order to make it work.... 4.7's don't have the VVT-i. And the charger does stick up over 5 inches from the base of the hood from what I remember hearing.
