1999 LS 400 no electrical displays / can't gear up
Bought this about 6 months ago. Truly beautiful car well cared for 170k miles. Running great. I drive to work daily. This morning I stop at the coffee shop and it starts right up but I get a headlight leveling message on the center console and red light. I only have 4 blocks to work and it runs there fine.
After keying off at the office I decided to start it up and see if the message is still there. I end up with no digital displays; nothing in the center console. Nothing on the display /nav screen, just open door indicator. I can't use power door locks. I can't even move it into gear
I waited an hour and tried again - same thing. I disconnected the battery and reconnected same thing.
Anyone know how to help - I love this car

FOUND IT
A small screw (you could call it a bolt) under Main fuse was gone. Replaced screw and it all came alive like it was never dead. Took about 3 hours to figure out - testing fuses and fuse connections. PHEW
