Default Upper Control Arm = Vibration?

So....since I've had my car, its always had some vibration. Even on stock wheels. After installing my 19's, felt the same. The vibration is at 50mph and on.

Recently my brother was an accident with my car, and included in the fix was new motor mounts and tranny mount.

It helped a little, but not much.

Today, I decided to install lower ball joints to see if that would help (plus the car is high mileage, so it wouldn't hurt). Once removed, the lower ball joints were in bad shape.

During installation of the new ones, I checked over everything else. I noticed my upper control arm ball joints are shot (driver and pass). I figure that will be my next fix. I've noticed the clunk and knew that was the case.

Everything buttoned up, I went for a test drive. Vibration slightly less, but still there.

NOW QUESTION: Would the upper ball joints cause that much vibration? I've worked the hell out of the Search button with no solid answer. I've yet to find if anyone has cured a vibration issue by replacing upper ball joints. All I come up with is curing the clunking sound.

With the car on jack stands:

- No play in the wheels, 12-6 and 9-3
- Wheels bearings are solid
- No play in outter and inner tie rods
- No vibration during braking. Pads and rotors in good shape.
- Steering rack is solid. No leaks, bushings in good shape, sharp steering response
- Megan coilovers eliminated strut bushing issues that usually occur
- Wheels balanced perfect. Tires are in true circle.

I'm at a loss. Everything checks out minus the UCA's, but I've yet to discover if that will fix it OR I'm overlooking something.

Thoughts?

I had a badly shot upper control arm (driver side) and it made no vibrations at all, only a clunk on slow cornering and pulling into my garage. Had maybe 1/4" of play.
