Hi,

I have a 1995 LS400. It rained yesterday and today when I opened the rear door of the car, I saw the carpet behind the drive seat was all wet and had a lot of water. Every thing else except the carpet behind the driver seat was DRY. All the windows, doors and SunRoof was fully closed.

One of my friend told me that this might be a drainage issue. Can someone please help.

Put water on your car by the sunroof and check the ceiling inside your car to see if water getting in your car from there

Might check under the front floor mats to see if that area is wet. If so, your A/C drain might be stopped up.

It's deffinately a drainage problem. Check the bottom of the trim between the front and back door to see if that's where the water is coming from. I think that's where the drain is for the gutter system above the doors. Either that or, being from NY, it could be part of your floor is rotted and the water is coming through the bottom.
Maybe you spilled a bottle of water.

there is also an air vent under the seat as well.....check for water in there
