Yea those clips on the injectors always break whenever ya gotta take them off. They get pretty brittle with all that heat in there. I had to get a few from the junkyard after I did my valve cover gaskets. Glad to hear ya got it running right.

Although I suspected this was the issue, this thread helped me confirm my coils were bad too. I had the same issue, it felt like 4 cylinders. On my 93 with 209,000 miles, the drivers side had been replaced with a no-name and the passenger side looked to be the original Denso. I would add that if you are replacing your coils, go ahead and get the little plastic harness that clips the +/- wires onto the coil. They are known to get brittle and will most likely disintegrate when you pull them off. I got mine at my local Toyota dealer: Toyota Part Number: 90980-11246.
