Default Trans Pan

Greetings all:

2000 LS400

Any surprises when removing the pan once the engine cover is off? I am hoping its just unbolt and reinstall. Also, anything to removing the filter?

Thanks for your help.

The tutorial although for the earlier model may help, sometimes the seal takes some breaking but should be fairly straight forward.

If my 92 is any indication to your 2000 which for something like this im sure it is, it was pretty easy. Just drain from the plug for half an hour first. I believe i used a blade or screwdriver to break the seal...The new filter kit came with a gasket (i assume your changing the filter aswell) , also try and get a torque wrench because if its not right it will leak like mine did. Fill with toyota type IV only...
