Trouble code 28 and trac code 47
Hi folks
I recently cleaned the intake, got ngk plugs and wires, new water temp sensor, pcv valve and some other small things to improve the engine. But now it has a high idle at approx 1400 rpm. I already passed the inspection with some weeks so im kind in a hurry and have had alot of work the last couple of weeks so thats great, NOT. Well i took the trouble codes and found out that i have a engine code 28 and a trac code 47. 28 - Main oxygen sensor signal (on right bank) 47 - When idle switch is ON, sub-throttle position sensor signal is 1.45V or higher My question is that does these two codes have anything to do with eachother? I havent had these codes before and it should be a coincidence that the oxygen sensor stopped working after i cleaned the intake? I was careful when cleaning the throttle but maybe i need to get it "calibrated" anyway? when it says sub-throttle it means the throttle far away from the intake right? not the throttle nearest the engine intake though i was thinking that this might should be calibrated to get the idle rpm down to normal. I have found the diy for the throttle here but is it the same way to do the sub-throttle? http://www.lexls.com/tutorials/EFI/tps.html I gues i also have to the oxygen diy here http://www.lexls.com/tutorials/EFI/m...gensensor.html and when it says oxygen sensor (on right bank) they mean the one in the passenger side right? Just need to make sure. Sorry my bad english  Thanks guys. |
Have been looking for universal oxygen sensors but there is different types. Which one does Lexus use?
This one is Zircona. Can i use that? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Top-Quality-Ox...item3cb4c10b44 Quote: This sensor will not replace “Titania” or “Planar” type Sensors. Thank you. |
Hmm nobody knows anything about this? :-/
