Default 92 shifter bulb light

okay, i have looked around and read what others have said. I just need some confirmation. Does the PRND really pop off? its held down with 4 screws but that won't get to the bulb due to the wire harness.

Just don't want to break the plastic off. Seems like its glued on but maybe its just a good snap fit. Anyone done this?

it all comes apart (at least on my ucf20) but it requires a soft touch, some nylon pry tools, and finesse.

I am not sure i will try it. i bought some #74 led bulbs for that and floor lights. I don't think they will work because i tried to replace the floor ones and they don't fit. I broke on original one and bout some regular ones and they don't fit either. Seem too wide. So i am not sure that #74 bulbs are right.

But from what i have read that's that size.

I replaced all the other bulbs inside with LED and they look good.

Well thats what was on the package. They are just a hair too big. I wonder is Lexus used another size or they just make them bigger now.

Footwells are #74. Probably a defective batch or bad QC from the manufacturer.
I've used ones that barely fit and others that fit perfectly.

yeah, might be what is funny is that i went and bought some 74 regular bulbs at a auto part store and those were too big also. I was going to take a picture of all three but my luck i dropped the factory one and it broke.

Thanks for your input.
