How do you turn off the mileage display? Thx!
Just picked up a '98 LS400 and I wanted to turn off the mileage/range display below the speedo/tach guages. I scroll thru the options but it does not seem to go off......any ideas?

there's no "off" mode but there is a mode where it is blank, just scroll through the Modes and you'll get there.

Press on the center part of the bar, instead of on the lower part.

It won't go blank, that started in 99.

That's why the "blank" mode was added after only one model year. I rarely use the "blank" mode on my 00 LS ... usually leave it in Current MPG.
