When i turn on my headlights, the only way they cut off automatically is when the dome light comes on when i open the driver door. only problem is is it doesnt always cut on and i sometimes forget resulting in dying batteries. How can i fix this issue so that my dome light comes on all the time and just when it wants?

 

Why not turn them off manually?

 

i do but sometimes i forget. it's not supposed to be that way, but if no one else can give me any info then i have no other choice.

thanks for that post. it really helped. thats been bothering me for about a year now and it's already killed one battery and started to drain another.
