RA40 Hi. You've asked 2xs for pix of my '97 LS400 and I told you to look in your driveway since the pix at the bottom of your posts looks identical to mine but, with different hubcaps. Then your "in garage" says Toyota. Sorry, please be patient as I'm still learning computers, internet, ect. Club Lexus has been great every time (4x) in 3 days to explain things over & over (wear a helmet so you don't go through 25 brain surgeries and forget what your doing) I just found out when I post on other peoples posts I don't get my targeted audience. Sorry to go on & on BUT, I feel the helmet story is worth sharing or how many of our much needed Lexus friends and mentors might not be able to share their MUCH needed wisdom? As to the point of older LS400's, you said you were wary, but doesn't your pic show one? If so, what year is it? Thanks for your patience and much needed help. Peace, love & rock n roll!

Hi,
The name Lexus was only used on models outside Japan, the same models in Japan were badged as Toyotas.
I have an imported Toyota Celsior which is known as the Lexus LS400 in the rest of the world.

You shed much needed light on the subject. Thank you but, to be more naive, aren't they all imported? I'm blushing right now from naivete but this is how you learn isn't it? Thank you for the experience.
