Default us your oem air box for a heat shield

hey long hrad thought i finally came up with how to make a heat shield with the oem air box
just about 2 hours of cutting and fitting and you can have the original air flow that lexus had intended but with your after market air filter

with a bit of fussing work it all into place and reconect every thing
and this is what you have. air coming from the grill stright into the air fliter i, i have some hole in the back that i made i bit to big not much though i my go to my local import shop and see if i can get some of that tape at is used for the turbo pipes and rap it around the back

I must say that this is one of the very effective solutions...but it's ugly. Did you notice the difference?

give me about a week to test i keep very close eye on gas milage, temp, ect. i'll post if any difference if noctied
and beauty is in the eye's of the beholder
plus i am not going for fashion statements
