Hoping someone can help me. Since August 2010, a musty, mildewy smell will pervade the car. It would always do this heavily on a rainy day, and somewhat less on a sunny day. Air filter within the glovebox was changed. My mechanic cleaned all rubber seals with detergent in October. Recently, the situation has gotten worse. When the windshield wiper fluid is used, the smell absolutely reeks. I've been told this may have to do with the A/C sytem (that perhaps mold is inside), and also been told that the car could have a water leak problem, either under the front or back floorboards and down to the padding, which causes the stench. This could be caused by a bad seal around the sunroof. I don't know what to do, and feel like I'm pouring money into the mechanic's hands because he's almost searching for a needle in a haystack. Ideas?
