Default Exhaust smell in car

Wondering why I have an exhaust smell in the car. I jacked it up and looked for an exhaust leak but found none. Fumes are worse on the passenger side, and I am wondering if the exhaust manifold is cracked. It does not smell like gas, but exhaust, and I have no codes thrown. Do the manifolds typically crack somewhere, and is the repail/replacement have any pitfalls I should know about? Could there be another source for the fumes that I should check? Engine still sounds pretty quiet still. Getting annoying running on re-circ because the windows fog too easily that way....

TIA

Oogh, I'd get that baby checked professionally. You could be breathing in carbon monoxide fumes each time you drive. That's no good! Do yourself and your health a favor and get it looked at QUICK!

An update for anyone that might search in the future... I was having an issue with a smell in the cabin and it turned out I had a FPR that had developed a leak and was really stinking up the car. I'm hoping this helps with my poor gas mileage as well.

also it may be a oil leak around valve cover, fumes from burned oil will go in the car

What year? EGR pipe/EGR tube routes towards the passenger side.

Cracked/broken egr pipe is a common problem.
