Default How in the world do the BBS style mesh wheels come off of the 2nd gen LS?

I found a junked one and need to buy the hub on the front end.

It has the dealer installed optional mesh style wheels that look like this:

Anyway, no locks on them at all and a 19mm socket is too small while a standard 21mm lug wrench will not clear the holes in the wheel to grab the lug nuts.

The car does NOT have custom tuner style lugs that require a special key.

Quick help would be appreciated. They could crush this thing any day now and I need that part.

It's a 96 LS.

The caps are already gone....the lug nuts are the problem.

Could it be that the lugs on this wheel are 20mm?

either that or you need a thin wall 21mm socket.

Thanks for the responses.

I got them off with a regular deep well 21mm socket.

An impact socket or a standard lug wrench will not fit.

BBS must have made a special lug wrench that was put in the tool kit of the cars that were outfitted with these wheels.
