They most likely used a fuel injector canister cleaner where they hook up to the fuel rail and disable the fuel pump. I'm glad it worked for you! Look at your paperwork and share what kind of fuel injector cleaner they used.

Also, if anyone is looking for a fuel system cleaner for the tank. Look for BG 44K. It cant be bought at the auto parts store but can be bought online.

Yeah, sounds like that was what they did. Total damage was $180, but WELL WORTH IT. They also did a throttle body cleaning for $19, but I already had that done 2 years and 10k miles ago, so I am sure the fuel injection cleaning was what did the trick.

Ultrasonic fuel injector cleaning and flow testing is the only process that can guarantee reliable and complete fuel injector cleaning.

Again, my opinion from my experience... your experience and opinion may differ from mine... and that's ok.
/\ This... Not only will they be clean, you'll now with out a shadow of a doubt if any of your injectors aren't producing the correct spray patterns and if they are on their way out.

The best thing is - THE POWER IS BACK!! The reason the gas mileage increased is due to the fact that the LS400 SURGES FORWARD with just a light tap of the accelerator, I never have to floor it. Before cleaning I must floor the pedal if I want any decent acceleration. AMAZING.
Still your MPG is low BTW!

SeaFoam product isn't available in my town.
marvels mystery oil is by far the superior product, it's been around since world war 1 I believe. I have used it for 20 years with nothing but exemplary results.
