..That is using stock struts. I'm interested in retaining most of the factory ride but stiffening up the handling some. My struts are pretty much new and I'd like to lower the car some, therefore these two options came to mine. The last option and most expensive would be to opt for '95-00 Megans.

Most of us went with the Megans and are very happy with them. I only know of two people that didn't like them. One got another brand of coilovers and the other returned to stock.

Another thing to think about is when using stock struts you could be increasing the chance of blowing them with lowering springs. The majority of people I see with springs at least have sportier aftermarket struts that are designed with lowering springs in mind.

Yeah this would be my first time running lowering springs with stock struts, just because these struts are fairly new. Just wondering why did the 2 not like the Megans? I haven't seen any negative feedback which was a bit concerning.

The ride height of the Eibachs and H&R ~1.3" is not aggressive to significantly reduce the strut longevity. I feel it is a reasonable combo. Mine is still on the Eibach's but with Bilsteins and have around 75K miles on them.

I'm leaning towards Megans.

Long ago from Toysport around '02. You'll have to hunt them down now and most likely used. The Megans...would be the better choice for the overall cost.
