It's the true story! No Kidding! No Fairy Tale!! I just unexpectedly bought a 1991 Lexus LS400 from Craigslist for 1,000 dollars two weeks ago. It's looks great. I will post the pictures soon! All of you will be shocked! The previous owner didn't want to deal with one major problem: rack and pinion. I fixed it and bought four new tires; it runs GREAT! I did inspect from bumper to bumper for a few hours. There is no leaking at all, not even one! I was very puzzled why the previous owner (completely stranger) sold his car to me for just 1,000 dollars? I don't quite understand why? Anyway, the only problem that car has is odometer, speedometer, and tachometer are not working BUT trip odometer works fine. I did replace with a new transmission speed sensor but still not working. What's wrong?
