Default LS400 intake system?

What kind of intake system do you guys have on your 1st gen LS400's? I have no idea what brands etc there are. I have a K&N drop in, but I heard the intake is better. What do you think about the one at:

I placed a bid on it without really thinking about it...if it really sucks maybe I can just pay the guy the eBay fees.

Well, The purpose of an intake isn't simply to rush more air into the engine. It should put in cool air. If you would like to do this, you need some sort of heat shield or an intake that goes below your bumper to get some of that cold air.

I'll give my intake to who ever wants it for about half the price.. PM me for more. This is the one I bought... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=1833723646

Well for 20 bucks it aint bad,you might get 2-3 hp at most on the top end and some noise.

I think injen has a complete intake for about $250 and add that with at Apexi S-AFC then you might get some noticable power

I would predict around 20 alone without intake. Same thing as ECU I was offereing but much more expensive to tune.

There was one that Weapon R offered and LS400 GOD tried it but for some reason it did not work. Although people at WR are sure it should work, they want me to buy their ECU so I could test it out. No thx...I'll drive by next time I am in San Francisco instead.

The ECU I am talking about is this one:
http://www.cureline.net/lex/performance/ecu_ad1.htm

It works kind of like S-AFC but it is way easier to install and tune. Cheaper too.
