Default Amp and power steering related electric problem?
Ok this is one odd one.... Are these things possibly related? 1996 LS where the power steering fails intermittently and the stereo amp doesn’t work. Once in a while the power steering starts to work and the amp comes on.

Any ideas how to chase this down?

power steering pump is right above the alternator, so if your power steering pump is leaking it could be killing your alternator.

Humm never thought of that...

Touching the break petal also kicks on the amp sometimes.
