just filled up my air conditioning with R12A, It says R12 i think they are the same. Anyways, i had no diag codes before but now i have a code 21, which is the solor sensor, weird though as i checked tried it out in the sun. Anyways when i turn the a/c on the fan hesitates as the engine rpm's do raise for a few seconds but than fall back to normal, than the a/c light flashes. Once again code 21.

I bet what you put in is 12A, which is a hydrocarbon based replacement for R12 or R134A. Is the brand name Duracool or Redtek? I am about to do mine, which still has the original R12 in it. Ideally I would remove the R12 first, but that could be expensive. The Duracool rep I talked to suggested the DC0024 kit, which contains a sealant and drying agent as well as 12A refrigerant. Apparently it is compatible with either R12 or R134A (even though R12 and R134A are not compatible).
