Default 1995 Lexus Rims scraping

I cant seem to get 20's to fit my car even with small tires they still scrape the wheel well.
Any ideas, suggestions??
Why will they not fit... It has a good offset and everything. Clears brake caliper etc.
I've seen 22's on these cars, I don't get it.
I've been told to roll the fenders.

I've used 225/35/20 on front and back and they still scrape the wheel well.

I now have 245/35/20 all the way around with the car slightly lifted.

Let me know what you think!

I had 285/35/20's on mine, after rolling the fenders they were ok. Now that I'm lowered I need to get some more narrow tires.

Hey guys, I'm new to CL and glad to be a part of it but I'm having the same issue with the exact same car. I was told that the mid-year ls400 had this issue of trying to find 20's that fit with vibrating or needing spacers. Can someone shed some light on this for me too. I just bought a 95 ls400 and would like to put some nice 20's on it with about a 4 inch lip. Is it possible? Please help!

20's will always rub the fender liner at the top unless your suspension is stiff as a rock. Make sure to either move your harness up and out of the way or protect it with some sort of wrap.
If you're rubbing the fender liner on the outside or fender lip itself then either a roll, pull or lower offsets are necessary.

I don't have anything on it now but the stock 16's but I want 20's but don't want to sacrifice ride quality putting on 20's if it's gonna vibrate. What offset do I need and what size tire do I need?
