Suspension on Late Model LS400
I am new to these forums so would appreciate any help from you veterans.
I have been following posts for a number of years and am thoroughly impressed with the knowledge of some of you.
The air suspension on my 2000 LS400 seems shot and I have a miserable ride on rough and potted roads. The dealer quoted an astronomical amount to fix. Is there a cheaper or better alternative? Although the car performs well, its blue book is not representative of what I believe is the true value of the vehicle. So would like to get a couple more years out of it.
Any suggestions -

please search, this has been well covered.
if you want to keep the air ride, best bet is remanufactured struts from arnott industries. about 250ish a piece, times 4.
if you want to convert to a conventional setup, arnott sells a conversion kit, or you can buy the stock shocks, springs, and upper mounts from any 95-00 LS400 new or used (i'd buy used springs and maybe top mounts, with new struts).
