My 98 LS with IS300 rims.

Not too shabby. I'm pretty happy with how they came out. I definitely need some more appropriately sized tires, since these are the stock IS300 size.... and I need to lower the car from stock height - but I can't complain, the price was right.

Not too shabby at all man. Looks much better than the stockies, that's for sure!

what size spacers did you end up using in the front?

Toyota_F1 05-22-10 03:44 PM

I used a really awesome set of hubcentric 25mm spacers with studs all the way around. Worked great.

Now any suggestions on springs/shocks that will drop and tighten without totally destroying ride quality. I want improved responsiveness, but I don't want a back destroying ride like my MR2 and Supra had.

PureDrifter 05-22-10 05:57 PM

tokicos plus h&r are your best bet for a slightly more controlled ride without messing up the quality too much. Tanabe DF210s are wayyyy too soft.

I'm having a hell of a time finding any Tokicos for the LS. Any ideas on where you can find some or a good alternative? KYB maybe?

PureDrifter 05-23-10 02:29 PM

sorry i forgot you had a 2LS, KYB and eibach or KYB/H&R are your best bet.

Did you have to use the spacers to clear anything? Or was it only for looks? I'm looking to pick up a set of these wheels.

Post #4 mentioned what he used to clear the calipers. If going that route with Lexus five spokes and spacers, the 2-GS wheels are also a consideration.

Ohhhh damn, that looks clean! Definitely adds a little more of a sporty look to it with the thin spokes.
