sorry about the dirty car, but i was able to fit some Continental 265/35/18's on my 18X8 rear wheels! i thought that it was gonna be impossible to do, but i read on a supra forum that it can be done, so i tryed it, and it worked. I only have 235/40/18's on the front, but i think that the set stagger's together well.

Holy smoke.
They look great.
Subtle enough to look cool, but not screaming "pull me over" lol
Nice job.
BTW..What wheels are those?

lexusls95 Mar 26, 2010 07:22 PM

Thanks. I'll take some better pics next week when we get into the 70's, and after i clean it.

justinp95 Mar 26, 2010 07:31 PM

what kind of wheels?

lexusls95 Mar 26, 2010 07:36 PM

18X8 Mille Miglia. I cant remember the exact name of them, i had a friend pick them up for me in Arizona on craiglist for only $300 last summer. Used

LiCelsior Mar 26, 2010 07:46 PM

i ran a 275 on a 9.5 supra tt rim before.

there are a couple LS guys running 275s on their wheels also.

Yes, he is. 285/30/18's.....idk how he did it cause my 265's with minor offset still make the tires almost hit the inner fender edge.

LiCelsior Mar 26, 2010 10:15 PM

Steve probably has modified fenders...hes also lowered so the camber adjusts the distance from the top of the tire to the fender. but ur 4x4 status, shouldnt matter.

RA40 Mar 26, 2010 11:14 PM

Interesting, I would think it would have more sidewall bulge. As far as the specs in the model I would install, it lists a 9-10.5" width rim. Hmmm...something to consider next time.

Nice! I also have 265/35/18 on OZ rims on my rear, really a lot more tire then this car needs, but extra rubber doesn't hurt anyone! Also have 255/40/17 on the front and rear as snow tires, lots of fender to fit tires in on this car!

justinp95 Mar 30, 2010 11:33 AM

Whats the offset of those wheels?

Lexozz Mar 30, 2010 05:10 PM

265/35/18 is way too small for the LS. On my previous one is was running 245/45/18s just to stay close to stock diameter and not interfere too much with the speedo. You would actually be running 822 revs per mile compared to 781 and the speedo would be off by -3 meaning it says 63 MPH but actually you are going 60 MPH. You probably would be better off with some 19s at the same height or 20s running a 30 profile. Just wanted to offer some advice.:)
