Question 1991 LS 400 Won't start after battery died

So my daughter left the back seat light on while we were out of town for the weekend, so we tried to jump it and... the stereo and light and everything work but motor makes no attempt what so ever to turn over. We charged the battery over night, and took it to get tested and its fine, but still the motor doesn't make any noise, no tick... NOTHING! This is very frustrating, can anyone offer me some advise?

It could also be the theft deterrent system has disabled the starter. Try unlocking the front door with a key.

Well this is what I would do...

1. Check the battery terminal for proper contact. (Does cluster light up?)
2. If (1) is good, then have a local mechanic test the alternator, unless you're able to remove it and have places like 'autozone' check it for FREE.
3.If (alternator) good, then prepare to have a mechanic check the starter solenoid.

From the get-go, i've been in the same situation once, and it was the battery terminals not making proper contact somehow.

Goodluck!

Cool

Do you hear a click? If not, check all connections to the starter and batt. Check all grounds. Make sure you have continuity.
