Default Wind Noise at 40mph +

This is starting to bug me now!

At around 40mph and anything above the wind noise I get on or around the windscreen is pretty loud! At first I thought maybe it was the wiper arm or something as it sounds like the air is being "cut" through.

One thing I did notice is that there is a peice of rubber missing on the gap between the Hood/Arch/Window gap (the A piller basicly but on the outside).
I'm wondering if this could be feeding air up through and over the screen?

Otherwise is there any other common problems? I'm 99% sure that its not coming from the sun/moon roof.

Might be the door seals. Our cars are getting up there in age and some of the rubber-vinyl components may be showing age. Replace that one rubber strip and if it doesn't solve the noise, check the door.
