I'll probably have one up by the end of the weekend if all my parts arrive as scheduled.

bumping up your thread when nobody's answered your question, the answer for which is just common sense (how ELSE do you propose getting the spring off the shock safely...does it LOOK like there's any way for it to work...), is rather annoying.

best bet since you apparently have never installed suspension on a car is to have a friend who has help you out the day of, because given the extreme potential energy stored in the springs, you can easily chop yourself in half if you screw it up.

for the front it needs to come off. rear you can lever the hub assy. down enough to get the shock/spring out.

Lexls.com is your friend again. In the tutorials section, it's on top in the "Body" section.
(It's just about the same on my '95, which is a world of difference from the cars I'm used to. On Volvos and such, there may be a couple of bolts and the seat is out within maximum 2 minutes without any prior knowledge. The LS is an altogether different story, but it also has one of the best back seats I've ever had the priviledge to put my behinds in.)
