Default Just bought a 1993 LS400!

Hey guys I have been reading the forums for quite a bit now and I finally bougght a 1993 LS400. Well not yet I made the deal with the guy but he is going out of town until monday.
But its a 93 LS400 Champagne w/ Tan. Traction, heated seats but no air ride or Nakamichi. It has 127k on it with all service buy Lexus. Excellent condition and I got it for $8300. good deal.
Also what kind of Cd Changer plugs in to the LS400 stock?harness if there is one? Thanks!

Thats sounds about a good price, these cars last a lifetime as long as you take care off it. Its good that you stayed away from the air suspen. model because it will cost a bundle to fix.

By the way congrats and welcome to clublexus.

93 ls400.

that's the one i wanted, before i got my 98.

one of my friend is going back to korea so i might get his car for cheap. he paid $13K last september from trading his isuzu. it's a pretty good conditions when i saw it last time.

it's a pearl white (the only color i love!), clean, about 125K miles.

he is going back on coming Dec. and he is going to ask a dealer for the price on Dec. i personally think a dealer will not pay him more than 6K or 7K. which means i get a chance to get his car for 6K or 7K. i am considering very seriously to purchase his car or not.

if i do decide to buy, i will have another easy toy (now, i am afraid to play with 98) and i need to start saving money.

No aftermarket CD changer to replace stock changer directly, but do let us know if you could find one.

Damn, no cd changer will plug right into the 93 LS400 head unit?
I wish my car had teh Nakamichi Sound becuase this Lexus Premium Sound System is not to premium if you know what I mean. Oh well is there any way to adapt a CD changer to work with the headunit without the use of a FM Modulator. I know in my dads ES the changer is a Lexus chager but I beleive either Pioneer or Alpine makes it. Not sure. Any cheap soloutions so I can listen tos ome CD's?

93 is indeed a great model year, a lot of improvements made during this model year.

Unhappy

Well guys I got some good and bad news, the guy never sold me the car, after he came back from out of town he avoided my phone calls and made excuses so I guess he was just playing games and wasted my time.
I thank him for that becuase today I just bought a 1992 SC400 with 73k miles for $7200! It's great and I am in love. Well see you guys around in the SC forum.
