Are the Drive belt tensioners the same for LS400 of all years or are they different. Mine is a 1995 and I was wondering if the 97-00 fits my vehicle

If you go to "t oyodiy.com" (take out the space) you can look up the part numbers for the different years to see if they're the same.

Can't imagine they are different but if you have Auto Zone there give them a call. I changed mine and bought it there for $19. I had to use a couple washers on the installation nut - worked like a charm

Steveski, did you say that Auto Zone has the drive belt tensioner for $19 bucks. The problem with mine is that it rattles every now and again I thought it was the pulley, but the pulley would make a squealing noise. So I brought it to my mechanic and he told me that the spring is gone. So I was replacing the whole unit the dealers stock number for that unit is 16620-0W035 when I research them on *******.com and other affiliated sites the all look the same that is why I had post can all work on mine.
