a-tinted headlights and taillights=illegal in nearly every single state
b-10,000k headlights=useless, nearly the same amount of actual light output as halogen bulbs EXCEPT
C-10,000K is so BLUE that you'll get pulled over since blue headlights are illegal in every state.

That being said... OP should let us know how much the ticket is when he's done

tinted headlights = 50% or more loss of output
10K hids = another 30-40% loss.
tinted headlights + 10k hids = fail

4300k is oem hid color. 5000k is like a pure white and 6000k has a whiteish-hint of blue color.

10000K HID is retarded no offense. Might as well stick with halogens. It will attract alot of attention from cops which you don't want.

yes, and 3000k has more actual light output (measured in Lumens) than 4300k, which is, along with the long wavelength of the yellow light, the reason it was/is often used for foglights).

Kelvin (color temperature) and Light Output are INVERSELY related.

higher kelvin (bluer/more purple) light also causes more strain on your eyes when driving at night.

read up guys.

i calibrate displays, & colour temp is one of the things i adjust
the standard is 6500K (bright sunny day)
5-6000K would be a cloudy day
below 6500K is considered warm (red) and above is considered cool (blue)
incandescent are usually around 3000K & are orange

mark

3k is brightest but its YELLOW..that will also attract cops. get 4300k low beams and get 3000k fogs and your golden. hidextra has a great deal right now. 3 yr warranty also, cant beat that.
