Default Did all first gen LS400s have air suspension?

EDIT: Nevermind, found answer... Just have to look for the height button ( High / Norm ) incase anyone is searching this.

I'm going to look at a 1994 LS400 today and was wondering how to tell if it has air suspension.. If it does, I'm not going to buy it..

Please let me know within the next 3 hrs!

Thanks

air suspension is said by many to stop working and cause more problems. if your a wealthy person then go ahead and get it.

but i think since its a toyota/lexus part it probably lasts a long time and if you need replacements i think i seen them for a few hundred for a set

100% pure garbage after aprox. 10 years. Try to avoid the LS' with A.S.

Not necessarily. Just takes a few hundred bucks and a few hours to get rid of them.

I still haven't decided what I'm going to do with mine. The front had already been converted by the PO, but now the passenger rear is leaking.

@Texfinn: Yes, that's true. I've done it too

@Oliverted: Difference between coilovers and the air suspension is quite noticable offcourse. If you're going for comfort you should keep the A/S, but it's going to cost you
