alternator oem or aftermarket
should I buy the oem alternator for 350.00 or will one from pep boys do just fine?

If the Pep Boys one has lifetime warranty, why not? If it goes bad, go get yourself another one. Then another. Then another. And so forth.

I just bought one from them a few months ago with a lifetime warranty, you can't beat that
