anyone in the Kansas City area know of a good shop?
im looking for a good shop thats experienced with lexus. I think that the shop i took my LS to screwed up my timing belt installation. thanks in advance!

We've taken our Toyota and Lexus brand cars to these guys since they opened in about 1996: http://www.exactauto.com/services.asp
They've replace timing belts for us on two different LS400s (90 and 00) and a 98 V6 Camry and done lots of other repairs for us. Back in 2003 the owner, Ben, even found the 00 LS400 I'm driving now within a few hours after I gave him my requirements.

awww man! ill be sure to check them out next time (which im sure wont be too far off) i already scheduled with some other guy. thanks for the tip!

Just go anywhere but Autopia. Those guys did a Supra engine for me and screwed it up beyond belief. They were supposed to be the best at imports, too.

Serviced at Dave's Foreign Car Repair /Parkville, MO
We've brought our 95 LS 400 and 97 ES 300 to Dave's Foreign Car Repair at Parkville, MO. We are very impressed with the work that they have done on both of our cars. They are open Mondays to Friday only.
